HPCA invites applications for Selector Positions

The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association  (HPCA) invites applications for positions on its Senior Men’s, Women’s, and Junior Men’s Selection Committees. 

1. Member of Senior Selection Committee – Men (3 positions)
   To select the State Men's Team for representation in domestic tournaments, including Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Col. C.K. Nayudu and Men U-23 State – A and any other formats.
   
   Eligibility:
   • Should have played a minimum of 10 First Class matches.
   • Should have retired from the game at least 5 years previously.
   Key Accountabilities:
   • Select the best possible team in a fair and transparent manner.
   • Plan and prepare a strong bench strength for the Senior State Men's team.
   • Attend team meetings as and when required.
   • Travel to watch domestic matches.
   • Prepare and provide evaluation reports of the respective team performances to the management of the HPCA on a periodic basis.
   • Adhere to the rules and regulations of the HPCA.

2. Member of Junior Selection Committee  – Junior Men (3 position)
   To select the State Men's Junior Team for representation in domestic tournaments, including Cooch Behar and Vinoo Mankad Trophy (U-19), Vijay Merchant Trophy (U-16) and U-14 tournament, and any other formats.
   
   Eligibility:
   • Should have played a minimum of 10 First Class matches.
   • Should have retired from the game at least 5 years previously.
   Key Accountabilities:
   • Select the best possible team in a fair and transparent manner.
   • Plan and prepare a strong bench strength for the Senior State Men's team.
   • Attend team meetings as and when required.
   • Travel to watch domestic matches.
   • Prepare and provide evaluation reports of the respective team performances to the management of the HPCA on a periodic basis.
   • Adhere to the rules and regulations of the HPCA.

3. Member of Selection Committee – Women 
   Select the Women's State Team across all age groups for representation in domestic tournaments and any other format.
   
   Eligibility:
   • Former players who has played First class matches.
   • Should have retired from the game at least 5 years previously.

   • Select the best possible team in a fair and transparent manner.
   • Plan and prepare a strong bench strength for the Senior State Men's team.
   • Attend team meetings as and when required.
   • Travel to watch domestic matches.
   • Prepare and provide evaluation reports of the respective team performances to the management of the HPCA on a periodic basis.
   • Adhere to the rules and regulations of the HPCA.
