We regret to inform you that the third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, originally scheduled to take place at the HPCA Cricket Stadium Dharamsala from 1^st to 5^th March 2023 has now been shifted to Indore, Madhya Pradesh as the outfield lacks sufficient grass density owing to harsh cold weather conditions in the region.

As you are aware that Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) had decided to install sub air drainage system at Dharamshala in light of the heavy rainfall received annually in the region.

Post installation of the said drainage system we had seeded ryegrass but in spite of our best efforts and d ue to the cold weather the outfield is lacking grass density and as such presently lacks the standards required to conduct an international game which has forced BCCI to move the test match from Dharamshala to Indore.

In the coming future, we assure our stakeholders that we shall unveil a ground which shall be of world-class standards.

Till such time we request everyone to bear with us because cricket shall be seen at its best on this beautiful ground very soon.
